Leopard is the New Black

Topshop faux fur vest // Topshop sweater // Love Leather skirt // Adidas sneakers // J.Crew pouch

Recently I have been very inspired by the Chanel S/S 14 show's use of tennis shoes, so for the past week I have been experimenting with athletic shoes by pairing them with unlikely outfits, such as this combo of a simple day or night skirt and fur mix with these amazing leopard Adidas. Not only am I in love with the pattern and neon orange pop, but their boldness and comfort!

Casual Friday: 200th Post!!!

Topshop sweatshirt, coat, and choker // Rag & Bone jeans // J. Crew t-shirt // Clare Vivier bag // Vans shoes (customized by moi)

It's been a while since my 100th post, and a while since I've worn this sweatshirt (or featured a silly face in a post). I'm usually a very dressy person, so on these milestones I would like to show you cute, cozy, and casual looks.

I have always been a huge fan of Vans slip-ons, and I have recently experimented with customizing them for myself and friends. Soon I would like to start selling them, because I personally think they're awesome looking, and really fun to make.

something I made last weekend- as if the beauty of the bottle wasn't enough...

I have accumulated a wonderful collection of fashion illustration books throughout the last couple years- to be inspired by and admire. It's been a while, though, since I have found one that I can't stop looking through- and this one by TASCHEN is simply amazing. Featuring 90 completely different and unique illustrators, this book is packed with gorgeous pieces and original styles. Many of my favorite artists are included- like Kelly Smith and Katie Rodgers, for example. Many people don't realize how much fashion design is an art, and these books serve as a reminder that clothes can be something so much bigger.
