Sure, when you think of a Spring runway, you imagine colors- but these three collections, Prada, Celine, and Miu Miu, have really raised the bar this season.

Prada S/S 2014
Miuccia Prada really wowed the world with her latest Prada collection, featuring exaggerated pastel coats, covered in diamonds none the less, bright and unexpected color block combos, unique silhouettes and cutouts, and comic-like illustrated faces. With a perfect mixture of sporty (hhhheeeellllooooo to those socks!!) and girly (loving the oversized bracelets and creamy pinks), each look has an extreme one-of-a-kindness that can only be found in the iconic brand's newest round-up.

Céline S/S 2014

I am SO totally in love with the latest Céline collection. When this season's ads were released, I was sucked into the dreamy brush strokes and colors presented in them, and who wouldn't be in awe of the interesting composition splattered across the magazine page? The fabric and texture variations were executed beautifully, and the painted pattern just looks so natural and effortless. Lena Dunham looks crazy cool wearing one of the looks, an oversized coat, in her spread of this month's Vogue.

Miu Miu S/S 14

Praise no. 2 for Miuccia Prada! Her other Spring collection, Miu Miu, may be just as phenomenal. I like how the looks have vintage and western influences, for example the saloon-esque beaded details and cowboy florals/ embroidery. Not to mention the footwear, including the brand's iconic diamond heels. Yet, have you ever noticed that if these looks weren't designer, they would be considered hideous? Just look at the last featured look and think about how you would react to someone pairing a snakeskin coat, yellow sequin dress, and chunky knitted tights...
