Lucky Brand shorteralls // Madewell top // Zara mules // Topshop choker // Pixie Market lip bag // Wildfox shades

A summer outfit for the girl who loves to wear black! These shortfalls were a lucky find, pun intended, from about three years ago. I finally have recovered them from my closet archives and am currently experimenting what I can pair them with.

On Thursdays We Wear Paint

Thursday, May 15, 2014

Zara button down // Madewell boyfriend jeans (DIY'd by moi) // Mansur Gavriel bag // Adidas x Topshop sneakers // Michael Kors watch // Venessa Arizaga Queen Bee bracelet // Wildfox shades

Not a while ago, I found the absolute perfect pair of boyfriend jeans. After being so happy with the regular blue jeans, I decided to go back and get a pair to add a bit of 'Amanda' to for the coming up season. Because I don't wear a lot of color, I added some of my fabric paints and cut them up a bit. It was super easy- believe me when I say that anyone can do it! You can't even make a mistake- in fact, they look better a little bit messy! I love the way they turned out and they will definitely be a summer staple for me.

nueva york diary

Tuesday, May 13, 2014

A couple months ago, I visited one of my favorite places on Earth, New York. But, being the first time visiting in five years, I returned with more of an eye for style. I hit some of the best stores- Topshop, Uniqlo, Opening Ceremony, and I also stopped by some that I hadn't been to like American Two Shot, Dover Street Market, Assembly, and Maryam Nassirzadeh. I also got to try my very first LadurĂ©e macaron! I was also very lucky to have been showed around the P.S.- I Made This office- which is basically my dream. Everything in there is so sparkly and cute- I wanted to take everything! I also delivered Emoji Sniques to Devyn- some of my favorites so far.

Peanut Butter Banana Toast

Tuesday, May 6, 2014

Toast has become quite the trend this year. Here is my favorite toast combination for a breakfast/ lunch/ snack.

1. Remember how to spell 'banana' - .

2. Toast a piece of sprouted bread.

3. Spread peanut (or almond) butter on the toasted bread.

4. Cut some banana and use as many pieces as you want to place on the butter.

5. Sprinkle some granola to the toast to add some crunch (I used Kind honey granola).

6. Drizzle A LITTLE BIT of honey over the bananas and granola.

7. Add a pinch of cinnamon. Don't over do it.

Pretty easy and very yummy.
