Duality Of Me
A woman. In the fullest sense.
Stand on my own and feel my feminine.
Daughter of the Mother, heritage given,
Driven by the energy,
That comes from generations
And the individual Generation
Of a woman in the truest sense..
Before I’m a Woman.
I am a girl.
Young and alive. Fertile and full.
Developed and gorgeous,
A lover with curls.
Before I’m a girl,
I’m a sweet child of light,
Dancing with sparklers while the dusk fades to night.
Before I’m a child.
An infant lies,
Fresh and new, wrapped in love,
Too sweet to be wild.
And before birth itself,
I’m the Circle of Life,
With my waiting Sisters.
I am a woman, in the fullest sense.
It’s my turn.
I descend.
Before I am at all,
There was also a Him.
This is how we begin.
The instinct for war burns.
I fight thousands of Brothers.
It’s my turn.
I see the red goal, and simply, I know.
Already in motion, I think
(in my own voice), “Go.”
Swimming to meet the Circle of Life,
Attacking, demanding, and claiming it mine.
An explosion of light. Two energies agree.
Both masculine and feminine—
My wholeness exposed, duality,
Consent to Be.
And I became
A woman in the fullest sense
