God-Sized Holes

Guts punched
by the cannonball, breaking through
the skin, falling into depth of the universe exposed

I was gaping open and spilling out and falling in
all at the same time
The stars float inside me. I can’t see them,

Not really,
But they are there, floating

The stars are in my head too, I can feel them buzzing
I can feel the universe think about sneaking outside of the hole,
seeping through the openness,
galaxies of purple and blue curling like smoke around the edges of my belly, expanding around my human existence, where it shouldn’t be. It’s too much to bear,

Humans can only hold a tiny amount of this infinity,
I’m not doing so well.
Please go back and leave me be, until it’s really time.
